Celestial Bay
Michael and Kim O’Brien’s long standing passion for wine led them to the Margaret River region in search of a property suitable for viticulture.
The perfect location was identified for Celestial Bay on Metricup Road, Metricup. A former dairy farm, the site provided all the necessary requirements for successful viticulture – good soil, a moderate maritime climate and reliable rainfall.
Winemaker Bernard Abbott has 25 years of experience working in Margaret River. He has also spent time working in France. Bernard combines modern winemaking with traditional techniques to produce hand-crafted wines.
Our philosophy – “a passion for perfection”- is captured in each bottle and confirmed by our 5 star rating in 2010 and 2011 from James Halliday, Australia’s most respected wine commentator.
During WA Wine Month Celestial Bay wines are featured in the Wine – Science or Art? event at Scitech.
